Brilliant Labs presents the AI glasses Halo
The Singapore-based technology company Brilliant Labs has presented an open-source AI glasses that can save memories and create apps using voice commands. So, you can vibe-code small apps.

The details
- The AI glasses Halo are hardly distinguishable from everyday glasses. However, the AI glasses are equipped with sensors, a display, and a multimodal AI assistant.
- According to Brilliant Labs, the AI glasses are designed to be open-source and privacy-friendly. Additionally, you can control the glasses via voice commands, and it react in real-time.
- Furthermore, the AI glasses have a reminder function that processes names and conversation content locally, making them accessible for future use.
- In “Vibe Mode”, users can create small apps that run locally on the glasses. The glasses weigh 40g and can last up to 14 hours on a single charge. In addition, it supports a wide range of vision corrections. Brilliant Labs plans the launch for November 2025.

In the past months, we have repeatedly reported on AI glasses. Many companies are now working on this, including Big Tech (Meta, Google, Apple, …). In our opinion, AI glasses will become a significant market, similar to smartphones.
In the future, many people will own AI glasses because they will simplify their daily lives. Imagine real-time translations or context-based explanations.
