## The details
* The API processes media, text, tables, and equations with a quality that was previously unreachable. You can use the system to digitize complex documents.
* In benchmarks, Mistral OCR outperforms its competitors in terms of accuracy. Mistral OCR achieves an accuracy of 94.89%, significantly surpassing Google’s Document AI (83.42%) and Microsoft’s Azure OCR (89.52%).
* Mistral OCR is now the default model for document processing on Le Chat. The new API is available for developers on la Plateforme. In addition, the API is coming soon to Mistral’s cloud, inference partners, and on-premises.
