NVIDIA unveils AI and robotics updates at GTC 2025
At the GTC 2025 conference in San Jose, CEO Jensen Huang highlighted the company’s latest advancements in AI, robotics, and computing.

The details
- NVIDIA introduced the Blackwell Ultra GPU, an improved version of its Blackwell chip, scheduled for release in the second half of 2025. It provides better performance and 288GB of memory for handling complex AI models.
- The Vera Rubin architecture, which combines next-gen Rubin GPUs and Vera CPUs, was announced for the second half of 2026. Named after the astronomer who discovered dark matter, it promises a significant leap in computing power for AI applications.
- NVIDIA also unveiled the first open humanoid robot foundation model (Isaac GR00T N1) and a new robotics physics engine developed with Google DeepMind and Disney. In addition, a Star Wars-style robot prototype, dubbed “Blue” was showcased, demonstrating interactive capabilities on stage.
- DGX Spark and DGX Station: NVIDIA announced a personal AI supercomputer powered by the NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra platform. This desktop solution enables local prototyping and fine-tuning of large AI models. “This is the computer of the age of AI”, said Huang, CEO of NVIDIA.
