🤖 Our Top 7 AI Predictions for 2025
Today, we present you our AI predictions for 2025:
-
Many new AI startups are entering the market and launching products with AI agents. Former OpenAI employees will play a key role in this.
-
It will be the year of Meta and its Llama models. We expect Meta to integrate AI assistants and image generators into all social media apps (WhatsApp, Instagram, Threads, and Facebook).
-
AI and crypto companies like Tesla, Palantir, Nvidia, AMD, and Block will benefit enormously from the new US government.
-
xAI will become the leading AI startup, and xAI’s large language model Grok will become very popular. Perhaps Grok will even be the best large language model on several benchmarks by the end of 2025.
-
AI agents will increasingly become part of software products and gradually enter the mainstream, although full adaptation will probably still take several years (>5).
-
There will be no Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) by the end of 2025. This raises the question of when we can speak of AGI. According to OpenAI, AGI refers to highly autonomous systems that can outperform humans in most economically valuable tasks.
-
AI is becoming an essential component of cybersecurity solutions. In addition to the increase in sophisticated attacks using AI, defenses against these attacks are also being significantly improved.
👉🏽 What do you expect in 2025?
At the end of 2025, we will review these predictions together to see which ones became true and which did not. One thing is clear: it will be another year full of exciting AI innovations. We’re curious!
😲 Hidden texts on websites can manipulate AI search engines
The British Guardian tested ChatGPT Search to determine if the search engine uses hidden text on websites to answer questions.
The details:
- ChatGPT Search has used hidden text in websites to answer questions.
- It’s possible to manipulate AI search engines in targeted ways. For instance, website providers can fake product ratings using hidden text. Users cannot understand the AI search results because the information is not visible.
- ChatGPT Search is currently only available to Premium users. Perhaps other AI search engines will have similar problems.
Our thoughts
There is a risk that future websites might try to influence AI search engines. However, we believe that OpenAI and other search engine providers are aware of this weakness and are already working on solutions.

📱 xAI’s chatbot Grok gets its own app
The AI chatbot Grok will soon also be available outside of the X platform. xAI has already released a new app in the first countries.
The details:
- In Australia, users can already try the standalone iOS app. The app is also in beta in other countries.
- Since the beginning of December, you can use Grok for free on the X platform. This allows any X user to ask Grok questions and generate images.
- Grok is an alternative to AI chatbots such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot.
- Users can log in with their X login, email address, or through Apple or Google.
Our thoughts
It’s incredible how fast xAI can catch up with OpenAI. Within 1.5 years, xAI has a similarly powerful model to OpenAI on the market. Grok also has a powerful image generator.
We often use Grok to create teaser images for our blog articles. In our opinion, it’s one of the best image generators available. We are excited about the upcoming iOS app.
